Dear Friends,

This Sunday, October 11, features our much-anticipated Social Justice Activity Fair after the service on our Main Patio, during which you are invited to get connected to the important work that our Social Justice groups are doing in the community. Here's your chance to meet people in person, to get more information about what events and opportunities they have coming up, and to get on the mailing lists to keep your connection going. During the Social Justice Fair, I hope you will also join RE and Family Ministry at our Family Lounge in the Fahs Room for snacks, community, fun activities and kid friendly space.

Scroll down in this message for more information on Sunday, including information about this Sunday's service led by Rev. Roger, as well as what to expect in Soul Kids (grades K-5) and Junior High Youth Group (grades 6-8) this week.

Also please note:

Our monthly Family Dinner potluck is tomorrow evening, Friday, October 9!

We are planning a family-friendly field trip to a local Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday, October 24 and we want you to join us! Sign up below in this message!

Growing Beyond our Roots: What Are We & How Did We Get Here?

Rev. Dr. Roger Jones preaching with Rev. Lucy Bunch, Ministerial Intern Sophia McKean, Worship Associate Connor Lane, Pianist Irina Tchantceva.

Our comparative-religion theme in October is Protestantism. Unitarianism emerged on the liberal end of the Protestant Reformation in the 1500s in Central Europe and 1800s in America. After many transformations over the years, Unitarian Universalism looks a lot different today. With a great variety of beliefs among UUs, including non-theistic paths, is there anything Protestant present in our movement?

  • After service: Annual Justice Activity Fair on the Patio (learn about our justice groups and programs)
  • Young Adults Meet & Greet at 12:00 pm
