2026 #5

May 5

Hello! For this issue we thank our members for jumping in during year one of my tenure with you. Our commerce community is growing and we have begun a join/renew campaign for the next membership year that starts June 1.

Clearly a good time was had by all at our Q2 membership meeting, which was followed by an open-to-all networking event. Thank you to our speakers Stuart Rabin - Port Chester's Village Manager and Chris Bradbury - Rye Brook's Village Administrator. We also thank the Events Team @ The Capitol Theatre for putting this great evening together with us and sharing some of the love during their 100 year celebration! The private backstage tour for members was a huge hit! We also want to thank our members who generously donated lite bites which enabled us to make this a no-fee event. Thank you Haven! Thank you Sonora! Thank you Longo's Park Deli! Thank you Villa Rustica! Thank you The Kneaded Bread! Photos are at the end of this newsletter.

As we continue to transition into our terrific new website, we are getting great feedback. Site content translates into 18 languages and includes a directory of member organizations. The address is pcrbchamber.com. You can bookmark it for easy access and also go directly to helpful pages, via:

Further in this newsletter you will see opportunities, including a Westchester County resource and event, access and support for hiring eligible employees via member Catholic Charities Community Services, plus a member seeking to buy a local business. As well, there is information on the Village of Port Chester's Comprehensive Plan.

Later this month, we will open submissions for the Michael J. Borrelli Social Media Scholarship! We can't wait to make this available to small businesses in our area and will share the information very soon!

As usual, we hope you will enjoy all of this e-newsletter. Please be in touch at any time! Cheers! Camela Morrissey
