Die Konditorei
{die/f} Konditorei/Pastry shop (noun)
You've certainly heard of a French pâtisserie, but did you know about the German Konditorei? German pastries are rich and delectable, and often include hazelnuts, whipped cream, poppy seeds, and seasonal fruits. In many larger cities such as Berlin and Cologne, German pastry chefs are even developing their sugary and creamy desserts into vegan treats! Kaffee und Kuchen, anyone?
