How many of us have seen the Mega Millions or other lottery jackpot when it is in the hundreds of millions of dollars and thought what we could do with all of that money? How many of us have said" Oh, I'll never win and go on without ever buying even one ticket. Although, arguably, the odds are low if we buy a ticket, we have absolutely no chance if we don. buy the first ticket.

This morning's message is not one of "Go out and buy a bunch of lottery tickets." Far from it. The message is "You will never win anything if you don't get in the game, buy a ticket, or get involved. Life is a participant sport. It was meant to be that way from the beginning. We will not succeed at anything if we don't get involved, whether it be the lottery, business sports, medical treatments or, for that matter, anything in life. Too many of us have, for whatever reason developed the mindset that we will never win any way so why try. The old adage "Winners never quit and quitters never win" is alive and well.

Let's pledge, wherever we are in life, to get involved in it, to enter the contest and give it the old college try. We will be amazed at what we can do when we actively participate. We will be amazed at what we can win.
