The health and safety of our youth and community is, as always, our top priority. Avenues is monitoring the news and resources on Coronavirus (COVID-19) vigilantly and has taken extra steps to prevent and prepare for COVID-19. We want to thank our community for your continued support and advise you to follow the
MN Department of Health’s
and the
CDC’s recommendations
.
In addition to our extra on-site precautions, Avenues is:
- Rescheduling all agency events and large meetings, including our Building on Dreams breakfast. The breakfast will be held on June 8th, at McNamara Alumni Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The Red Affair and Caritas Vocal Ensemble, fundraisers for Avenues, are also being postponed.
- Postponing all volunteer activities to minimize the amount of traffic going in and out of our youth spaces. If you have questions, please contact Marni Zimlin.
- Asking that all in-kind donations be made online through our Amazon Wish List. We appreciate your support but are minimizing the amount of traffic going in and out of our youth spaces. Please see our Amazon Wish List for our current needs.
- Encouraging staff who can work remotely to do so. Staff will be rescheduling in-person meetings to virtual options when appropriate.
