A message from our President

We capped off our year with an amazing annual meeting, voting in a new slate of officers to our board, updating our bylaws, and enjoying a riveting presentation by our speaker, Dr. Susan MacManus, the foremost academic, non-partisan voice in Florida politics today. There are many to thank for a successful meeting, including Nicki Junkins, Ann Smith, Ann Harrell, Cathy Egley, and Monique and Ken Fischer. Special thanks to Kimberly Cline for a beautifully created and donated program booklet. This amazing support at the annual meeting and beyond is what makes us so successful.

We will be focused on providing voters with what they need to understand what’s on their ballot with Vote 411, amendment presentations, and a Volusia County School Board Candidates Forum on August 8th.

In the lead-up to our primaries on August 18 and the general election on November 3, please check to make sure you are registered and have requested to Vote by Mail if desired.

We are pleased to introduce our new slate of officers

who will be sworn in at our July Board meeting: Olga Hernandez,

Val Bruneel, Linda Cuthbert, Kimberly Cline, and Carolyn Carbonell.
