Traveling the Way of the Cross in History and Prayer
Presented by: Fr. Chad Arnold
February 26, 2026
Thursday 7:00 am - 8:30 pm
As a devotion, the stations of the cross have drawn Catholics to prayer for centuries. It is a spiritual practice of great value. A chance to walk with our Lord in His passion. But has it always looked like it does today? Have you ever wondered the origins of the non-scriptural stations?
This Lent, join Fr. Chad Arnold for Traveling the Way of the Cross in History and Prayer, where we will look at the history while ending with a guided meditation on the stations. Our goal will be to grow in knowledge and love of this spiritual treasure.
The evening will begin at 7:00pm, with Fr. Chad’s talk followed by a guided stations meditation outside (if weather permits; inside otherwise), and ending the evening at 8:30pm.
Please bring a protein based non-perishable food item we will be gifting to the Lord’s Diner. Examples would be beans, any kind of canned meats, or peanut butter.
Cost $10.00

Life-Giving Wounds
Fri, Mar 20, 3:00 pm through
Sun, Mar 22, 3:30 pm
A healing retreat for adult children of divorce or separation
Every year, over one million children see their parents divorce, and half of all adults today have gone through the traumatizing experience of watching their parents split up. The impact of divorce and family brokenness leaves lasting wounds, but there is hope for healing.
The Respect Life & Social Justice Office, in partnership with Life-Giving Wounds Ministry, will present a healing retreat in March for adult children of divorce, separation, and family brokenness. This retreat will offer greater understanding of the wounds left by your parents' divorce, guidance concerning regaining the ability to love and trust others, and a place for an experience of Christ and community which will lead to deeper self-understanding and true healing.
This retreat includes meals and all materials.
For discounted rates for students and clergy/consecrated, call the Spiritual Life Center at 316-744-0167 to sign up.
