What's Going On, Malvern?

Roadway and Storm Sewer Improvements

Malvern Borough will be completing storm sewer and roadway improvements at the following locations:


  • East Broad Street – from Bridge Street to Old Lincoln Highway
  • Goshorn Drive full roadway


Construction Schedule:


  • Work is scheduled to occur from Monday, September 29 through Monday, October 7, weather permitting and subject to the contractor’s schedule.


Scope of Work


  • East Broad Street: Installation of storm sewer infrastructure on east end of East Broad Street and roadway milling and paving.  
  • Goshorn Drive: Roadway milling and paving.  


Traffic and Parking Impacts


  • Road closures are anticipated during active construction hours. Access will be limited to local traffic only.
  • No on-street parking will be permitted in the affected areas for the duration of the project.


Malvern Borough appreciates the community’s cooperation and patience as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.

Join us on Saturday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a community Tree Planting Day as part of our ongoing effort to restore the Massacre Run floodplain—a vital headwater of Crum Creek.


This planting is being held by the EAC in partnership with Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards with a PHS Trees for Watersheds grant


We need your help to make it happen!


Event: Community Tree Planting

Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025 - 9:00AM - 12:00PM

Location: Paoli Battlefield Woods, right behind Quann Park


All are welcome. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help! Tools will be provided.
