Using Base-Plates for Shared Model Building - or not!  When you see images from workshops you easily get the impression that a SHARED model must be build on a BASE-PLATE. The standard process seems to be that once the participants' have shared their individual models the facilitator gives the group a BASE-PLATE and instructions for how to build a shared model USING a base-plate. If you have used the Identity and Landscape Kit you will know that there is only a limited number of base-plates in the kit. From very early on in the development of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY we learned that limited use of base-plates in general gives richer models and better story-making.
