PEERS® for Teens is a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated teens (ages 13-16) in middle and high school who are interested in learning new ways of making and keeping friends.

Fall Sessions for PEERS® for Teens will take place on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Sessions are $500 per teen/parent pair, who will attend concurrent sessions. Sessions will occur at the middle school building of Linden Grove School (4122 Myrtle Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236). To apply, fill out the Teen Participants Intake Form, linked in the button below, before Tuesday, August 22. There are no wrong answers on the Intake Form.
After you complete the Teen Participants Intake Form, linked below, you will receive an email with the official registration for the Fall 2023 session.
Note: Based on your Intake Form responses, your teen may be better matched with peers in the Winter 2023 session, set to begin in January. Completion of the Teen Participant Intake Form does not guarantee a spot in the PEERS® for Teens Fall Sessions cohort offered by Autism Connections. We will communicate your placement with you.

Fall Sessions for PEERS® for Adults will take place on Tuesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Sessions are $500 per adult/social coach pair, who will attend concurrent sessions. Sessions will occur at the middle school building of Linden Grove School (4122 Myrtle Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236). F.I.S.H. (Family Inclusive Sensory Hours) at the Newport Aquarium | |
Everyone should be able to enjoy a fun, inspiring, and comfortable visit to Newport Aquarium. Join us for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours when modifications are made to the visitor experience for an accessible, safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all guests, including those with special needs on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5-7 p.m.
During Sensory Sensitivity Hours, lower capacities, no music, limited microphone use, and reduced lighting provide a sensory=relaxed environment for guests with autism, PTSD, dementia, anxiety, and other sensory sensitivities. Calming areas are provided, and noise-cancelling headphones and fidgets are available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis to be borrowing during your visit. A sensory level guide on touch, sight, and sound is provided.
With limited capacity available for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours, we recommend you purchase tickets in advance online prior to your visit. Join ACEing Autism at this summer's Western & Southern Open at the Linden Family Tennis Center (5460 Courseview Dr, Mason, OH 45040) on August 20, 2023 and participate in a free and fun ACEing Autism Clinic on Courts 12&13. Beginners welcome!
Ages 5-10 – 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Ages 11-15 – 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Ages 16-18+ – 1:30-2:30 p.m.

| Sensory Friendly Nights at the Cincinnati Public Libraries | |
The Norwood Branch Librarians are busy preparing for summer and that includes our after-hours Sensory Open House nights at the Norwood Branch Library (4325 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45212)! Families who would like to explore our library are welcome to attend. They’ll have lots of activities, including crafts and games, and a visit from Bonnie the Reading Dog! Families can also just hang out, kick off their shoes, and relax together. There’s something for everyone and fun for all ages! Join on Friday, August 18 from 6:30-8 p.m.
