One Stop Shopping at the Mississippi Farmers Market

Make sure you shop the whole market...
...You just never know what you will find!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

The Christmas season is upon us, and you can't have Christmas without Santa's cookies. This Saturday, December 4, is National Cookie Day. We have some of the main ingredients to make some drool-worthy cookies. Stock up on milk and eggs and several other fun things to add to your favorite cookie recipe at the Mississippi Farmers Market this weekend. This is the time of year where we tend to enjoy the sugary, calorie ridden goodies we've written off as "bad" for us. Are they though?! Think about those warm homemade cookies. Something about it just seems good for the soul. If enjoying a cookie is wrong, well then I don't want to be right! We hope that this Saturday you'll visit the market, come up with your own recipes for Christmas goodies, and make a ton of memories that will last a lifetime!

Get ready to celebrate at the first ever "Merry Market" at the Mississippi Farmers Market

We are preparing for the “Merry Market” on Saturday, December 11th. There will be a food truck, vendor giveaways, complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn, Santa and much more. Grab the family and spend the day with us. You'll be in the holiday spirit.
Mississippi Christmas Trees

When trying to find the perfect Christmas tree this season, look no further than Mississippi’s 32 Christmas tree farms.
Every year, Mississippi’s Christmas tree farms grow thousands of Christmas trees, from the popular Leyland cypress to the Eastern Red Cedar. These farms provide a festive atmosphere where families create fond memories and start family traditions.
THIS WEEKEND!!!!!
The Mississippi State Fairgrounds will host the inaugural Standing for American Freedom event inside the Mississippi Coliseum on Sunday, December 5, at 5:30 p.m. in recognition of the 80th attack on Pearl Harbor, which will be observed nationwide on December 7th.
