Everyone is invited to participate in the annual greening of the church this Friday, December 12. Meet in the sanctuary at 9:30 am to begin decorating the church for Christmas. We will be placing poinsettias, hanging the garland, preparing bows, and decorating the courtyard. Any men that could help with the heavy lifting would be appreciated. Please remember to bring work gloves and clippers. All other materials will be supplied. For more information, contact Carol Scott or Winn Morgan (see Realm for contact information).

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS AND GREENERY

As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, our plans for this year include placing poinsettias and greenery in the sanctuary. If you would like to recognize a special person, you may do so by ordering a poinsettia, or you may make a donation toward the greenery. The cost is $15.00. For those who choose to order poinsettias, please be good stewards and remove them after the evening service on Christmas Eve. Please click here and fill out the form to make your order. All orders for poinsettias/greenery need to be submitted by December 14.

The March for Life is an inspiring and peaceful rally of pro-life supporters from across the country. It has occurred every year (except during the pandemic) since 1974 in response to the Roe v. Wade decision. This year's trip will take place from January 22, 2026 - January 24, 2026. Consider joining us as we march for the unborn! For more details and to register click on the QR code below. For questions, contact Right to Life Committee chair David Gobel (contact information can be found in the Realm directory).

BUILDING PLEDGE UPDATE

Are you up-to-date in your building pledges? We began the Generations fundraising effort in February 2023, asking for three-year pledges due February 2026. We are at the point at which we need an influx of cash to build the new kitchen and new restrooms at Point Pleasant. Do your utmost to get your pledge up-to-date.

BIBLE READING PLAN FOR 2025

For 2025, we will offer the Navigator's Book-at-a-Time Bible reading plan. Hard copies will be available on Sundays and in the church office; you can use the provided pdf as well. In the year ahead, ask God each day to speak directly to you from the Scripture portions you read. Be expectant, and let your continual exposure to God’s Word reshape your attitudes and behavior as you gain a better understanding of every part of His written testimony to us.
