Temple's Tenets
Thank you for participating in the Q&A session last week. As a reminder:
- measures 1-4 are for hospital admissions (inpatient data); antepartum admits, intrapartum admits, and including post-partum readmits out to 42 days post-partum
- measures 5-7 are from the cardio-obstetric care coordinators
- please refer to data dictionary in your packets to understand what is included in the numerator and denominator of various measures
- the screening form is understood to be nonspecific, five of the questions are pertaining to the patient’s history and three to current/recent symptoms
a. if the patients screen is positive for historical events, then obtain records if available (may have to proceed with de novo work-up if not available)
b. if the patients screen is positive for symptoms the following may be helpful in evaluation of those symptoms (from CMQCC):
