Member Opinion Survey ~

the BHI Transportation System

Your input is necessary in connection with a very important decision regarding the BHI ferry system, the ferry parking lot and the BHI barge system.

Your BHA Board of Directors wants you to do four things:

Inform yourself about this issue. Get the facts. Click HERE to read a Brief Chronology of Transportation Authority Issues.
Read any and all documents that are on BHA’s website (click HERE) and the Village of BHI’s website (click HERE) that can assist you in understanding the issue.
Respond to BHA’s short member opinion survey by clicking HERE. This link will remain live until noon on July 1st. Know that your opinion matters.
Send an email to the NC Local Government Commission (LGC) and share your opinion — click HERE. Tell them you are a property owner on Bald Head Island and tell them whether or not you want the LGC to approve the sale to the Bald Head Island Transportation Authority. Be sure to tell them why.

This is a very important issue for the future of Bald Head Island. Please inform yourself and let your opinion be heard. The survey will only be open until noon on July 1st. Results will then be anonymized and published to BHA members and to the LGC to provide an understanding or the “pulse” of our diverse members.

Contact BHA Executive Director Carrie Moffett (Carrie@BaldHeadAssociation.com) with questions or issues concerning the survey. Thank you for participating.
