Hello!
The fall is a great time to get out and about in beautiful places.
Last week, I buzzed up to Flagstaff on the spur of the moment, and caught some powerful shots around Sunset Crater. While shooting the crater from the meadow, I mentally, vividly flipped back to 2014. During that October in 2014, I hiked partway up Humphrey's Mountain and shot the distance view of the crater. I blended the two images here, suggesting how it was for me to flip back and forth between the two times and places. I always rejoice at times like this when I am conscious of the immensity of my total being, when the mind and spirit come forward. I draw great comfort from knowing we are all so much more than our bodies and the day-to-day lives we lead.
So I encourage you to travel near and far, and even back to places you have gone before.
Please share the Moments with the ones you love and let me know how the work has helped. You can reach me at

Update on shows: I cancelled my participation in the October show in Pine
in order to devote more time to the new web store, and to travel for photo shoots.
The autumn light is my favorite. Monument Valley here I come!
STUDIO WEEKEND November 1,2 3
Emmie's Place in Gisela Valley, Arizona.
I had to forego Studio Day last year due to Covid. So this year, I'm making it Studio Weekend, to allow more time and convenience for anyone who wants to come out, fewer people at one time, artfully distanced. More info later.
