Building Foundations, Transforming Lives

Our Commitment:

A Message From the Chairman

What we nurture in the early years becomes the foundation of sustainable families for generations to come.

I have witnessed the quiet resilience of families who give their all despite every barrier. Their determination inspires our unwavering commitment to meet them where they are.

Together, we will build a future where every child and every caregiver has the opportunity to thrive.

Nasruddin Rupani,

Chairman Rupani Foundation

Growing Stronger Together: Early Childhood Development

The foundation of a healthy society begins in early childhood. Through our Early Learning Quality Network (ELQN) and Ethnic Community Self-Help Program (ECSH) programs, we are committed to nurturing the whole child and family. In June, we trained 104 informal caregivers (parents, grandparents, and home-based providers) across five sessions, equipping them with evidence-based strategies to turn everyday moments into brain-building opportunities for children 0–5. Additionally, 46 directors and teachers completed two intensive trainings on holistic development, inclusive practices, and family engagement, leaving with ready-to-use activities and the confidence to create classrooms where every child feels seen and valued.

Not every parent can buy a shelf of toys, and that's okay. Because it is never about the price tag.

It is always about the learning inside.

Through our Informed Parents Program, we deliver a $200 learning kit, free to every family, to ensure that children in modest homes have the same opportunity to learn and thrive as children in better circumstances.

Just quiet, purposeful support during those first 1,000 golden days.

  • 76% Child Care Providers – Gained inclusivity, holistic care, & cultural competency.

Nurturing Families, Strengthening Communities

A child flourishes within family, culture, and community. This June, we celebrated 35 mothers graduating from Informed Parenting and 55 children completing early learning milestones, marking a powerful journey from uncertainty to confidence, and from struggle to thriving. Our broader community efforts reached 116 individuals through health sessions on nutrition and maternal wellness, 264 participants in prenatal events, 181 attendees across four cultural celebrations, and 21 individuals developing economic skills through sewing classes. Together, we are strengthening the entire ecosystem that raises every child.

  • 75% of Camp Culture participants reported increased confidence interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • 88% of youth demonstrated improved leadership, teamwork, and cultural awareness through Camp Culture activities.

Building Bridges: Career Pathways Building

For families rebuilding their lives in new lands, the path is steep. In June, our Career Pathways and the Ethnic Community Self-Help program delivered 67 hours of Job Readiness Training to 18 clients and 109 hours of Vocational English Training to 27 others, building skills for the workforce and bridges to belonging. Yet the true impact defies numbers. It's the dignity of a parent securing work, the hope of a family daring to imagine a future once thought impossible.

$15K annual income surge (87% boost)—plus industry credentials for lasting self-sufficiency.

"We Have the Power to Change That." David Fernandez...

From $80 a day to $75,000 a year, that is the journey we facilitate with as little as $100.

A short course, a documentation attestation, a few hours of guidance. That is all it takes to help a New American parent acquire a sustainable livelihood, to see possibility in their eyes, to watch a family step into stability. As a Career Pathways Specialist, I know this: mentorship is not kindness, it is necessity. Without it, how many capable individuals will remain unhelped? The answer haunts me. But we have the power to change that.

Child Mental Health in a Digital Environment: A Call to Action

Mayor John Whitmire Addresses Child Mental Health in the Digital Age at Luncheon & Dialogue Event

On June 3, 2026, Rupani Development Initiatives (RDI), Ibn Sina Foundation, and Rupani Foundation USA hosted a landmark dialogue to disseminate the first-ever UNESCO ethical framework on youth mental health in digital spaces. With half of all mental disorders emerging by age eighteen and screens accelerating the crisis, the timing was urgent. The dialogue brought together global voices including Dr. Asma Humayun, Mylène Deschênes (Chair, UNESCO International Bioethics Committee), and child protection expert Arshad Mahmood, alongside more than 250 policymakers, clinicians, researchers, and civic leaders in Houston.

Mayor John Whitmire declared that nothing can be accomplished until civil society unites behind one mission, urging collective action on child mental health, a call echoed by State Representative Suleman Lalani, Judge Christian Becerra, State Representative Ron Reynolds, Dr. Connie Almida, and Dr. Asim Shah. The UNESCO report is now available, and we remain committed to turning global ethics into local action.

Our Most Read Article from the Month of June

As we had quoted in our previous article on "Child Mental Health in a Digital Environment" about the UNESCO's International Bioethics Committee (IBC) 2025 report, highlighting approximately 7% of children aged 5–9 and 14% of adolescents aged 10–19 live with a diagnosed mental disorder. About one-third of all mental disorders develop by age 14, and half by age 18. These are not abstract statistics, they represent children in every community, every classroom, every home.

The Second Time Around: Grandparents as Informed Caregivers

The Second Time Around: A Grandparent's Journey to Informed Caregiving

When Nora and Jose Galindo took in their two young grandchildren, love came naturally, but a quiet worry lingered: Are we giving them what they truly need to thrive?

Then they enrolled in ELQN's Early Childhood classes and discovered that the most meaningful learning happens through simple, intentional moments, reading, singing, talking, and playing together.

Soon, morning routines and evening walks became filled with stories, laughter, and connection. A simple doctor play kit turned into a tool for empathy, cooperation, and problem-solving.

Watch the full video to experience their inspiring journey from uncertainty to empowered caregiving.

Invest in a Neighborhood. Transform a Community

Our Informed Parenting sessions are designed based on evidence. We explored the barriers to early childhood learning language, transportation, work schedules, overburdened grandparents, and that led us to take early learning opportunities to the doorsteps of apartment complexes.

Using low-cost, no-cost materials, recycling through our ECD experts, and meaningful multi-purpose learning resources, we now deliver the entire 18-week program for just $18,000. Cut the 6-week Brain Builders, and it comes down to only $12,000.

If you aim to lift 20 caregivers and over 30 children through our Informed Parenting Program, here is your chance.
