Celebration of Light raises over $3.4 million...

Good Afternoon Kristin,

Thank you to each of you for the different ways in which you supported Friday’s Celebration of Light, whether it was through sponsoring the event, purchasing a table, attending and bringing supporters to the event, or various other ways. Because of this support, Fulcrum shared on Saturday that the event raised over $3.4 million for Catholic education in the Archdiocese.

This success could not happen without you and the support of your schools and communities. I am grateful for the many ways Fulcrum contributes to advancing the mission of our Catholic schools; and that gratitude flows directly out from my gratitude for each of you who, daily, animates this mission in your respective communities alongside teams of educators who serve our 21,530 students.

Recalling yesterday’s reading from Mark’s Gospel, I am grateful to have been called to serve alongside each of you in this ministry of Catholic education.

With gratitude,

NICHOLAS FORD | Superintendent

Office for Catholic Schools | Archdiocese of Seattle
