VENEZUELAN VICTORIES

God bless the mercy acts of church ladies.

The constant need in most destructive disasters is care for children. Pastor Rey Edwards has directed ORH to a church which is providing nurishing meals and care.

The problem is that they do not have a completed building. Because of their effort, ORH is providing money to finish roofing the building so children can be brought to this church location.

Pray that God will bless them in their efforts to provide for the children.

Love Makes Children Resilient

Although times can be very difficult, children cope very well with the stress when they receive love from the church.

Thank God for church congregations willing to expend the energy and love to keep children filled with confidence that God has not forgotten them, but constantly calls them to His side. .

Work continues to provide assistance to people with good and needed essentials to restore reasonable living conditions.

At the bottom of the picture is a message of thanks for the relief efforts of the churches working with ORH. The message reads as follows.

"Thank God my family received the help that our brother Antonio Jose brought with his team thanks to Pastor Renaldo Edwards, Pastor Antonio Diaz for his connection through the missionary house in Cumana, and the Evolution congregation. Thanks to all of them for their donations."

ORH expresses appreciation also for their good works!

LIVING CONDITIONS ARE VERY DIFFICULT WHEN ALL LIVING COMFORTS ARE LOST. WATCH AS CHURCH LADIES VISIT THOSE WHO ARE IN THIS CONDITION.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE FAMILIES AS ORH AND THESE GOOD CHURCHES SEEK TO RELIEVE THE DESPERATE FEELING THAT VEMEZUELANS ARE LIVING IN THE NEW NORMAL.

JAMAICA REBUILDING

Removing roof held down by blocks after disasterous hurricane.

Jamaica is still rebuilding after Hurricane Melissa. Pastor Oral Anderson is laboring to help those in need with the $10,000 ORH was able to send because of your giving. He has sent a report on one of the homes.

Hurricane Melissa

Dates: 21–31 October 2025 (final report published February 2026)

Peak Intensity:

Sustained winds: 190 mph (306 km/h) — tied with Hurricane Allen (1980) for strongest in Atlantic history.

Record Wind Gust: A dropsonde measured 252 mph (406 km/h), the strongest gust ever recorded in a tropical cyclone.

(Watcher's NewsPost-season NHC report finds Melissa tied for strongest Atlantic hurricane by maximum sustained wind - The Watchers)

"Good morning Brother Milton. I hope all is well with you today.

I got the funds at the beginning of this month. Our team of volunteers started working on one of the projects a few days ago and is almost finished.

This one is for Gloria Frazer, a 85 year old church member, whose roof was ripped off in the storm. She had the roof patch together from salvage. Now, thanks to you and ORH, she is getting a new roof.

There was so much more work that was to be done that met the eye, but by God’s grace, her house will be livable again!"

Laborers work into the evening to finish the roof for Gloria. ORH is sending $1000 for tools needed for repairing houses. Pray for God's blessing on Pastor Anderson and his church.

Proverbs 3:27–28

27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, When it is in the power of thine hand to do it. 28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; When thou hast it by thee.

INDIA FLOODING

Water abating in Kerala region but still difficult to help.

Clothing prepared for distribution, and then, distributed

Please read Pastor James Varghese report. He has worked with VSN2020 for many years.

"Beloved Dr. Jan and team ORH: greetings to you all in the most precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Trusting in God, we set out on August 29 from Trivandrum City, the capital of Kerala, and arrived in the Alappuzha district after approximately 6 hours of travel. We stayed there for three days to make the necessary arrangements for the relief work. However, we had been busy preparing for this relief effort since August 20.

Thus, on September 1, our Lord helped us successfully carry out the distribution of relief materials. We had begun the program with prayer and the elected representative from the local government administration inaugurated the distribution of food grain kits and the clothing.

After this, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel of Christ with them who is the only bread of life....

This region is also known as the "Rice

Bowl of Kerala." As far as the eye can see, there are vast paddy fields with narrow roads running through the middle, barely wide enough for a car to pass. On both sides of the road lie flooded paddy fields.

Wooden canoes and government ferry boats are their primary means of transportation.... Even after work, these small ferry canoes and

government boats are their only hope to return home. The government boat service ends at 9 PM. After that, if anyone on the islets falls ill and needs to be taken to a hospital, it becomes extremely challenging...under these circumstances. When it rains continuously, both travel and daily life become even more difficult....

The primary livelihoods are paddy farming and fishing. However, during heavy, non-stop rainfall, water overflows into the fields and destroys crops right around harvest time, plunging the locals into deep sorrow.... When the rain poured relentlessly, people were unable to bury those who passed away.... We saw the watermarks left behind on the walls of the flooded houses as the water receded....

The Lord gave us a couple of efficient and sincere local volunteers who knows the region well and identifying the most deserving families. When we spoke with the local people, they expressed that their most urgent needs at the moment were kits containing food provisions and clothing.

.... We were able to provide food provision kits to 100 families and clothing to 23 families. After receiving the items, many held our hands to express their gratitude, and we saw tears flowing from their eyes.... Even after completing our work and returning to Trivandrum, the people who received the relief materials continued to call us on the phone to express their heartfelt gratitude.... Another thing that amazed us was meeting some of the students of our Truth & Freedom Bible Correspondence Course....

Thank you very much beloved Dr. Jan Milton and the ORH team for this big help. May the Lord bless you all. To God be the glory. James & Dali Varghese Truth & Freedom Bible School Vision 2020 Asia Trivandrum Kerala, India"
