Greetings Shooters,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and well, especially in light of the recent impact of Hurricane Helene. My thoughts are with everyone who may have been affected by this severe weather event, and I sincerely hope that you have all managed to stay out of harm’s way.

The widespread damage caused by Hurricane Helene is a stark reminder of the power and unpredictability of nature. Communities across the affected regions have experienced significant devastation, with homes, businesses, and infrastructure severely impacted. Flooding, downed trees, and power outages have left many residents struggling to recover. The aftermath of the storm will require a tremendous collective effort to rebuild and restore normalcy, but the resilience of those affected, combined with the support of relief organizations and neighboring communities, offers hope for a strong recovery.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if anyone requires assistance, or if there is anything our community can do to support one another. Let us remain hopeful and look forward to brighter days ahead.

Without delay.......

Summer League Shooter Spotlight

Brent Miller – This sharpshooter put on a clinic, racking up a phenomenal total of 386 points, earning him the title of Champion. Week after week, Brent hit his mark with deadly accuracy. He’s proven himself as the top contender, setting the bar high for everyone else. Brent, we salute your skills!

Don Kerce – Now, let’s talk about the guy who always finds himself in contention. He made his mark and took Champion Runner-Up with a score of 381 points! Keep your eyes on Don!

Roselle Gainer – The rising star of the league! Roselle’s accuracy and determination were on full display. Not only did she win Class D Champion, her score of 379 was the 3rd highest in the entire league! She might not have taken home the grand prize this time, but she’s set to be a force in the future.

The Battle for B: Paul Rogerson vs. Mike Reynolds – One of the summers entertaining duels was the "Battle for B Class" between Paul Rogerson and Mike Reynolds, both finishing with 375 points! It was back-and-forth from the start, and neither of these shooters would back down. The tie will be broken at the Fall Championship by using the "long run" or "reverse long run" of their league targets. Each method will be assigned either heads or tails, and the result of a coin flip will determine the method to be used. Stay tuned!
