The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is excited to perform their annual Halloween Concert, featuring famous movie music, a planetary adventure, and several seasonal selections.
There will be two performances for this Halloween Concert. They will be at 5:30p.m. and 7:30p.m. on October 30 at the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the NIU Music Building. No tickets are required for either performance.
These family-friendly concerts will feature Psycho’s famous melodies, the Jaws theme, and several classical pieces, including Mars from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, Op. 32. Haunting melodies will flow from the concert hall, and the KSO looks forward to one of their favorite concerts of the season.
The KSO, in the spirit of Halloween, will perform in costume, and hopes attendees will dress-up, too!
In addition to these performances, the NIU Music Library will host their annual “Haunted Library” event for trick-or-treating and other themed activities before, between, and after the performances. This will be held in the NIU Music LIbrary, located next to the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall.
