Today we should have been holding the Liverpool Business Fair but the Virus means that we are obviously having to rearrange the event. But even if we can't meet in person we wanted to replicate some of the business support features in a digital form. We hope you find some of the information useful and take the opportunity to download our free Online Business Guide.
We hope you will join us on Twitter from 10.30am-3pm today and if you include
#LiverpoolBizFair
in your tweets during this time we will retweet them from
@Lp_BusinessFair
and

Webinar: Know Who You Pay
|
Given the global crisis with COVID-19, here at Bottomline, we feel it's vital that we come together to support one another. You will have no doubt seen that cybercriminals are already trying to exploit the current situation by targeting their victims via new means. More than £800,000 has already been lost to cyber criminals who are exploiting the pandemic, and this figure will inevitably increase.
Industry bodies such as UK Finance and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have reported an expected uptick in Authorised Push Payment (APP) scams and fraudulent attempts during this time. As a result, they are urging everybody to pause and check before they agree to make any payments.
Our latest on-demand webinar discusses the reality of APP fraud, how the industry is reacting, and how you can safeguard your payments by making sure you know who you pay.
