Wednesday Night Dinners | 4:45-5:45 PM
Our Wednesday evening meals have resumed. EVERYONE is asked to make a new reservation for this year. You may do so in one of the following ways:
- Filling out the tear-off in the Sunday bulletin and placing it in one of the offering collection boxes
- Scanning the QR code on the tear-off in the bulletin

Fill the Baskets for Pastor Appreciation Month!
October is our chance to bless the pastors and their wives who bless us all year long. We’ve placed a special drop-off basket for each pastor in the hallway. Stop by anytime this month to drop off: Heartfelt thank-you cards, gift cards or small blessings, their favorite snacks and treats. Rest assured, all gifts will be kept safe and secure until our presentation on November 1. Let's show our pastors and their wives how much they mean to us!
Informational Meeting—Footsteps of Paul Tour in Greece and Turkey
Sunday, Oct. 18
What would it be like to walk in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul and see the places where he proclaimed the gospel? Join us for a 10-day Journeys of Paul tour through Greece and Turkey in October 2027, visiting significant biblical sites including Philippi, Thessaloniki, Athens, Corinth, Patmos, Crete, Ephesus, and more. This unforgettable journey will combine breathtaking scenery, rich history and culture, and biblical teaching as we explore the very places where the story of the early church unfolded. Interested in learning more? Join us for a brief informational meeting Sunday, October 18, immediately following our worship service in the sanctuary. We hope you’ll join us for this incredible journey through the world of the Apostle Paul!
Sunshiners Trip to Allen Cove Farm | October 15 | 12:00 PM
Join us for our a fun afternoon at Allen Cove Farm, 760 Glen Allen Road, Oneida, TN 37841, on October 15 at 12:00 PM. To carpool, meet at FBCD by the church sign by 10:30 AM. Bring a dessert to share, your own drink and a lawn chair. Sign up by Sunday, October 11 in the Welcome Center or by scanning the QR code above. Calling all 4th and 5th graders! Join us on Sunday, October 18 from 4:30-6:00 PM for big games, good food, and this month’s big question: “Did Jesus really live?” Bring a friend and come ready for fun!
FirstKids BIG NIGHT | October 28 | 6:00 PM
Join us for our BIG NIGHT the last Wednesday in October! The boys are going to be having their exciting annual RA Boat Race, while the girls in GA’s are having a Hawaiian Luau with special games and treats! Bring a friend and come have a good time!
