International Dowsing Day 2020

Whilst trying to embrace the interests of dowsers of all disciplines, the following suggestions are intended to stimulate debate to establish a ‘theme’ for
IDD 2020.

Mike Barwell
Watercourses

These can include small, rural streams to rivers and to tidal estuaries. Subterranean watercourses can offer explanations relating to a number of above-ground features and anomalies.

Working with Trees

There is unfinished business regarding the topic we embraced last year and so much more that we can learn. A visit to the Arboretum at Castle Howard, or maybe it’s too soon?

Beachcombing

We have one of the longest coastlines in the UK (no boasting from Cornwall, Essex or Devon please) yet still there are many areas which cry out for exploration. In addition to our dowsing tools we could take our litter picking gear and help to clear the unwanted detritus from our shoreline, and who knows what we might find?

Locating centres of Healing

Maybe using remote dowsing first?

Any other suggestions will be most welcome. Bright Blessings.

 Spirituality
Special Interest Group

This group of enthusiastic people is off to a flying start.

The first meeting is planned for 8th November and will probably be held in Malvern - venue and details to be confirmed.

The group will be exploring and sharing the subjective experience of a sacred dimension and how to live those values in day to day life.

We will be progressing and deepening our personal relationship with the Universal Being (or as Christopher Strong used to say ‘the Management Upstairs’). Socrates or Plato said ‘I know I know nothing’, and this state of openness in heart and mind is all that you need to bring with you.

It’s not too late to join the group if you contact Kate on

University of the Third Age VIPs

I have mentioned before that the University of the Third Age is a possible recruitment ground for new dowsers. I recently addressed a U3A group of Visually Impaired People (VIPs) and introduced them to dowsing with L Rods and Pendulums.

Accounts of experiences of teaching People with Disabilities to Dowse would be welcomed by Info@CedJackson.org
