November Focus on Shopping Small

Where Tradition Meets Luxury and Every Visit Feels Like Home

By Diana Parejo, Membership Director, Halifax River Yacht Club

Nestled along the scenic Halifax River, the Halifax River Yacht Club has been a proud part of the Daytona Beach community since 1896. As one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country, we blend timeless maritime tradition with a modern, welcoming atmosphere. Our members and guests enjoy breathtaking river views, exceptional dining, and a variety of social and boating events that celebrate our shared love for the water.

This holiday season, we invite you to “shop small at our SHIP SHOP” by supporting the local experiences. If you've been considering membership, there's no better moment than now. Halifax River Yacht Club offers a range of membership categories—including Active, Business, Intermediate (under 46), and Non-Resident options—each designed to suit different lifestyles and needs.

Here’s why joining now makes sense:

  • Current rates are locked in through the end of 2025.
  • Rates are expected to increase in 2026, so enrolling before the new year ensures you benefit from today’s pricing.
  • Membership includes reciprocal privileges at other yacht clubs across Florida and the U.S., plus access to golf and tennis at Riviera and Spruce Creek Country Clubs.
  • Enjoy exclusive amenities like the Tiki bar and pool, pickleball courts, and Friday night entertainment during the summer

We invite you to become part of the elite experience that defines the Halifax River Yacht Club — where tradition meets luxury, and every visit feels like coming home. Whether you’re an avid boater, a dining enthusiast, or simply looking to connect with a vibrant network of local professionals, we welcome you to join our family and experience the best of Daytona’s waterfront lifestyle.

Monthly Member Focus

During the month of November, the Daytona Regional Chamber will focus on shopping local and shopping small. All small businesses will have the opportunity to submit a business spotlight to be featured in The Edge newsletter, on social media, and on the Chamber website.

Business spotlight submission deadlines are 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, and 10/21.

Direct questions to Kelly Amy, Member Engagement & Communications Director, at 386.229.5759 or kelly@daytonachamber.com.
