'And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

Luke 2:13-14

The angels that told us of Jesus' birth didn't go to the most important or wealthiest people in town. They came instead to a group of busy shepherds, tending to their flock at night. The shepherds dropped everything and went to worship the King who had come!

We are all busy fulfilling various commitments in life. Busy at work, or studying; preparing food, or shopping. Maintaining everything can keep us busy 24/7. But we must be ready at any moment to drop what we have planned and take steps to be with God and connect to what He’s doing. That might look like interrupting work to talk with someone who needs advice and comfort or helping a stranger you see struggling in public. Let's be on the lookout for ways we can remain ready for glorious interruptions throughout our busy holiday schedules.
