FURNITURE, ACCESSORIES + LIGHTING

TRADITIONAL

There's a reason traditional design endures. It was never about fashion, but rather mastery.

Classically proportioned furniture, richly figured woods, and textiles with real substance create interiors that feel both grounded and generous. Every detail — nailhead trim, turned legs, a well-placed tufting pattern — carries intention and history.

At its best, traditional design offers warmth without heaviness, ornamentation without excess, and a sense of permanence that makes a room feel instantly settled. It's the foundation serious designers return to again and again, whether anchoring a full scheme or lending weight to a more eclectic mix.

We have curated a sample of the current vendors that offer the best in the traditional space: Ambella Home, Caracole, Chaddock, Currey & Company, and John-Richard.

Ambella Home

  • Bone inlay is an ancient decorative technique with its roots in ancient Egypt, Asia and the Byzantine Empire. The Nero Cocktail Table, accented with black resin, creates a geometric ogee pattern with solid borders.
  • Softly gathered arms invite you to sit on the casually comfortable Portland Sectional. A boxed bench cushion and boxed back pillows are raised over upholstered feet. 20" throw pillows are included.
  • Inspired by French antiques, the king sized Fayette Bed includes an upholstered headboard and footboard and Mahogany veneered side rails. Ornate circilo carvings decorate the bed as well as carved fleurettes and fluted legs.
  • Crafted of Mahogany solids and veneers, the Phoenix Credenza features four doors with a carved sunburst relief pattern in an antique brass finish. Circular brass pulls are mounted in the center of the sunburst. A metal base in an antique brass finish completes the look. Adjustable shelves are included.

Caracole

  • Unforgettable from every perspective, the stylish I Love It chest will woo you at first sight. The love story begins with an inspired mix of materials. Its unique fluted sides and textured drawer fronts are brought to life in shades of Whisper of Gold and Matte Pearl.
  • The Bedtime Beauty bed makes an entrance. Fully upholstered and finished with exposed wood detailing in Auric, it pairs plush comfort with polished glamour — a statement piece that turns the bedroom into the most stylish room in the house.
  • Leading with style and distinction, the First Chair calls to mind the graceful lines of a finely tuned musical instrument. Elegantly dressed in an ivory chenille fabric, it introduces a subtle pattern with an upholstered back and seat framed in Dark Chocolate.
  • An extraordinary example of organic luxe, the Wish You Were Here dining table offers an ultra-impressive 100-inch stone tabletop. A bold, open geometric base finished in Whisper of Gold creates a mix of materials and brings in the glamour.

Chaddock

  • The sophisticated design and striking round form of the Gaia Sofa create the perfect environment for casual conversations. The smart tailoring and elegant plinth base add a touch of formality and luxury, making it a standout piece in any room. Available with a base in your choice of finishes
  • The Jefferson Pedestal Table features the simplicity of column design, incorporating fluting, clean lines, a quadrant base, and subtle Greek key details. A homage to Thomas Jefferson's admiration for classical elements in Monticello, his iconic Virginia home.
  • Poised and polished, the Chantal Arm Chair pairs a clean, tight-seat silhouette with just enough detail to hold its own at the table. Small nailhead trim and an exposed Charcoal finish give it a quiet authority.
  • Named after a historical reference, the Madame du Barry Bed design reflects Neoclassical influences like Louis XVI with cleaner lines and classical ornamentation. The straight headboard and footboard, adorned apron, and plinth embody 18th-century Neoclassical elegance, suitable for modern homes for a sleek silhouette and contemporary appeal.

Currey & Company

  • The tapered and subtly curved arms of the Fiorella Chandelier are covered in blossoms made of frosted seaglass. When the 12 lights shimmer through the pale material, they create a luminescence that also reflects off the contemporary gold leaf finish on the wrought iron.
  • The Kallista Blue Cabinet has a dark sapphire blue finish that enlivens the sycamore veneers on its door fronts. The wood grains bring the cabinet a hint of distressing that contrasts the sleek lines of the base and door pulls. The exterior is finished in a glossy caviar black.
  • The brilliant gold metallic finish on the Cassia Table Lamp brings its profile a striking richness. Made of composite, the bottom with its stretched diamond shape flows up through four concaves to narrow just before it meets the oval shade.
  • The Odeon Gold Bar Cart has an Asian style with its skillful wrought iron fretwork in a Seneca gold leaf finish. The light Roche antique mirror surfaces and caster feet make this gold bar cart popular during happy hour and for the beauty it brings to a space.

John-Richard

  • The Napa Mirror is an elegant marriage of natural motifs and chic contemporary design. Beveled glass sits within a beech wood frame trimmed in a Gold Coast finish, showcasing a white leather inlay adorned in floral patterns with gold nailheads.
  • The Glint Table Lamp features a gracefully looping silhouette in composite with a warm Brass finish, creating a sculptural focal point with elegant curvature. A faceted crystal accent suspended from a slender brass chain introduces a note of radiance, balanced by the natural poise of a white marble base.
  • The Bardot 17-Light Chandelier is a striking modern statement piece, featuring a textural metal frame in Champagne Silver adorned with faceted crystal inlays. Delicate crystal accents gracefully hang beneath the frame, catching and reflecting light to create a sparkling, layered effect that adds depth and glamour to any interior.
  • The Marbled Four-Door Sideboard features a beech wood case overlain with reverse-printed glass that captures the look and movement of natural Calacatta marble. A stainless steel base and decor in a Polished Brass finish introduce a crisp metallic accent that complements the organic vein patterns on display.
