Stay NJ program, a new initiative introduced by the State of New Jersey to provide meaningful and real property tax relief for senior homeowners. Beginning in 2026, eligible residents aged 65 and older may receive a reimbursement of up to 50% off their property tax bill, with a maximum annual benefit of $6,500. To qualify, homeowners must have owned and occupied their primary residence in New Jersey for the entire calendar year of 2024 and have an annual income of $500,000 or less. If you are under the age of 65, but are receiving Federal Social Security Disability, you will also be able to qualify for the Stay NJ program. Please note that mobile homeowners are not eligible for this particular program.

Christ Church member, Anna Rose Gable, held a discussion of challenges facing Christ Church's undocumented neighbors. Click the button below to learn about various ways to get involved in efforts to provide relief.

On August 10th, the Wardens will be holding a Parish Hall Meeting in the Sanctuary immediately after the 9:30am Service. The purpose of this meeting is to advise the Parish of the progress in the search for an Interim Rector and to announce the service schedule for August and September. You are all invited to attend and we will be happy to address any questions you may have.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in and supported the Farewell Party and Service for Rev. Joanna P. Hollis. Your presence, thoughtful gifts, and kind words made the occasion truly special and memorable.

We are especially grateful to those who worked behind the scenes to plan, prepare, and bring the celebration to life your time, effort, and dedication did not go unnoticed.

Together, we gave Rev. Hollis the meaningful send off she so richly deserves.

The Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and the Office of Government Relations (OGR) have launched a new Immigration Action Toolkit page on the Episcopal Church website.

This toolkit consolidates a wide range of resources in one place, making it a go-to destination for immigration information. While some resources focus on the Episcopal Church's response to the current situation, it also includes helpful links on topics like Family Preparedness and Know Your Rights, which are valuable to people of all faiths or none at all.

To stay updated on this ever-evolving issue and hear from knowledgeable

experts, a 30-minute weekly webinar is available. You can register here.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.
