Snowguns have been released!!

While we recognize that the natural snow has been slow to arrive, our grooming and snowmaking teams are fully prepared to give everyone the earliest possible start to the season.

Our snowguns are staged, our crew is organized, and we are monitoring the weather closely. If temperatures cooperate this week, we are ready to begin making snow and building a solid early-season base.

As we gear up for what we hope will be one of our best seasons yet, this is a great time to make sure your membership is up to date. Your membership not only gives you access to world-class trails—it directly supports the hard work our staff and volunteers are doing right now to get the season underway.

Thank you for your patience, enthusiasm, and continued support. Here’s hoping for a cold snap and the start of another great winter at Caledonia Nordic!

Cash/Cheque Weekend

November 29 & 30: 10am-3pm

We understand that every dollar matters, and we are working hard to support our members wherever we can. To help save on processing fees, we are opening in-person payment options for anyone wishing to pay by cash or cheque.

Aaron will be at the club throughout the week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM,(Note: we will be splitting wood on Wednesday at the gravel pit), and I will personally be available on November 29 and 30 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If paying in person is easier for you, please come and see us (Cash/Cheque saves you money!!) We are always happy to help.

Our members are the heart of this club. Our goal, but mostly my own personal goal, is always for us to remain one of the largest and strongest Nordic communities in the country. With your support, we can continue to grow together.

We look forward to welcoming you as members for another incredible season.

Your Membership Opens So Many Doors All Across Our Community

We are proud to say that the Caledonia Nordic membership works harder than any other pass out there. Beyond the incredible skiing you enjoy at the club, your membership connects you to a large and growing list of reciprocal partners throughout our community and across the province.

We are pleased to confirm that Powder King is once again on board as a reciprocal partner and is preparing to open this weekend. We are also excited to welcome Mr. Chibap as our newest local community partner, adding even more value for our members this season.

Your membership does far more than grant trail access. It opens the door to unique experiences, local perks, and partnerships that continue to grow each year. We are proud to work with so many local businesses and organizations who believe in supporting healthy, active, community-minded recreation.

Thank you for being part of the Caledonia Nordic community. Your support helps strengthen these partnerships and ensures that your membership continues to give you more—on and off the trails.

Help us Grow this amazing community...

and WIN BIG!

We are excited to bring back a favourite initiative that highlights the strength of our community. When you encourage someone to purchase a membership, ask them to list your name as the person who inspired them to register.

Each referral will earn you an entry into a special draw for:

  • 2026–27 Caledonia Nordic Membership
  • CNSC Toque

The draw will take place on December 1.

This program was a great success last season, and we hope it will once again inspire our members to spread the word and help strengthen our club community. Your support plays an important role in keeping Caledonia Nordic vibrant and welcoming for all.

Santa Ski is BACK:

December 7th, 2025 | 3:30–5:30 PM

The holiday season is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to welcome back one of our most beloved events: Santa Ski!

Join us on Sunday, December 7th from 3:30–5:30 PM as Santa glides through the trails, greeting families, waving to excited kids, and adding a touch of North Pole magic to Otway.

After your ski, cozy up by the bonfire for S’mores and hot chocolate, and enjoy the warm, festive atmosphere.

Admission is by donation to the Food Bank, helping support local families this holiday season.

Children are invited to bring their letters for Santa to drop into our giant North Pole Mailbox, or they can create one at our Letter Writing Station inside the lodge. We’ll also have holiday crafts and activities to keep little elves entertained.

Bundle up, gather your family and friends, and come celebrate a joyful winter afternoon with us. We can’t wait to see you on the trails!

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our

Amazing Community

Our community truly came together this past week, and we are grateful for the incredible support we received. After discovering that the woodstove had gone missing from Santa’s Cabin, many members immediately reached out with offers of help, ideas, and possible replacements.

We are very pleased to share that Tropical Pool & Spas generously donated a woodstove to replace the one that was taken. Their support ensures that Santa’s Cabin will once again be a warm and welcoming stop for families enjoying our trails this winter.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up, spread the word, and offered assistance.

Moments like this remind us how strong and supportive our Caledonia Nordic community truly is.

Visitor Testimonial:

These make us feel great!!

I am always please to share notes from members and visitors:

I am a skier from Terrace, and for the past two seasons I have travelled to Caledonia Nordic whenever our trails at home were not skiable. In 2024, it felt like nowhere else in the province had snow, but Otway did. Caledonia’s team had the trails groomed beautifully, and the welcome I received from staff and volunteers made the long trip completely worth it.

I returned again in 2025 when our season in Terrace struggled to get started, and once again Caledonia Nordic delivered. The atmosphere, the professionalism, and the sheer dedication to getting people on snow are unmatched. Every visit reminded me why this club is special. It truly is a place where people care about skiing and care about community. Thank you for giving me the chance to ski when I needed it most.
