Science Coming to Life for Barry 5th Graders
Barry Elementary 5th graders recently spent a full week diving into BioEYES, an immersive science experience that lets students step into the role of real researchers. Through hands-on investigation with live zebrafish, learners explored genetics and biology, observed real-time embryonic development under microscopes, and documented their discoveries in science journals.
This opportunity was made possible by our 5th grade team, who completed out-of-school training to bring this experience to life. Their commitment to creating meaningful, challenging learning experiences helps spark curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen the life-ready skills our learners carry into their futures.
See additional photos from Barry's week of learning.
