FRIDAY FLASH

December 16, 2022

A Note from Headmaster Scott

Dear Archway Trivium Families,

I want to keep it very short today. Thank you for your partnership and support for our academy, including the growing pains we are currently experiencing. An expansion year is always a challenge. We have managed this first semester quite well, and that is largely due to the significant good will that has been demonstrated on many levels. Thank you!

Please rest and enjoy your families these next couple weeks. Don’t think about school. Speaking for myself, Christmas is my favorite holiday; however you celebrate and whichever holidays you choose, please enjoy them to the fullest!

I look forward to seeing you all again on January 4!

Heartily Devoted,

Clay Scott

Tax Credit

In our weekly random drawing, Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Adrian (Noah Adrian ’35 accepting on their behalf) were drawn to win a galaxy light projector as a thank you for their participation.

Set up your 2022 Tax Credit before 12/23 for a chance at next week’s give-away! Ask family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. with an AZ state tax liability to do the same, and double each of your entries while also helping us move closer to our Tax Credit goal!! Tax Credits are essential for supporting our Field Trips so the fees to our families are kept as low as possible. They also help support our after-school clubs!

Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off/Pick-up

With the expansion of Archway and addition of the new building, there are significant changes to the traffic flow for the upcoming school year. Please carefully review the new Archway Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up and reach out with any questions. Taking the time to understand these procedures will help to ensure the safety of our students/staff and a smooth traffic flow.

Carpooling Update: Our east side pick-up lane has had a faster track and will now be our designated carpool lane.

If you have 2 or more Archway ONLY pick-up cards, you will be guided into this fast-track lane for a faster pick-up. Please be sure to have your pick-up cards ready to show our traffic controllers that you are carpooling so they can guide you to the appropriate lane. To maintain the flow of pick-up, others may be directed to the fast-track lane, but carpools will be given priority. Please do not enter the carpool lanes until you are directed to do so.

As a reminder, if you are picking up Middle School students DO NOT ARRIVE to campus before 3:15 PM. This creates significant delays. If you arrive before 3:15, we will ask you to go back into our pick-up lanes and try again.

Please follow the link below to review the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Plan and be sure to share this link with anyone authorized to drop-off/pick-up your children.
