Monthly Focus - October Zone Meetings!

Have you RSVP'd for your Zone Meeting yet? Each Zone (East, West and Buncombe) will be holding a meeting to provide more information about Grouping, TEFAP, P2 and MCI. We're excited for the chance to see you all in person and answer questions and share successes of the past year.

Feeding America Feature Updates & Fixes

Update:

FANO is aware that MCI has been going down more frequently due to the Azure/backend and has reached out that they are dedicated to fixing this as a priority.

If you've been facing any issues with the platform, please reach out so we can add to the list of things to address. FANO has committed to the following to help support:

1. We have made recent additions to our Technology Team—and adjusted priorities of current team members—to focus our efforts on fixing system bugs quickly.
2. This same team will then focus on improving the platform by making small, incremental enhancements based on the suggestions we receive from you.  

Bug Fixes:

• In July and August Race / Ethnicity and Gender data were not always displaying on the front end in SIMC, although the data was still stored on the back end. The team has resolved this issue and restored the data to the front end. *We are currently working to get this data loaded back into the Tableau reports.

• A bug was resolved where the last name field was blank during an Anonymous visit. The team found this was occurring when a previously non-anonymous neighbor was changed to anonymous.

• When trying to check-in a neighbor for a reservation, some users experienced intermittent issues with a pop-up appearing that would not let the user move forward without closing the pop up and trying again. This bug has been resolved.

Tableau - Service Trends:

• Corrected issue with View by Households or Individuals and View by Duplicated or Unduplicated Counts filters that was causing the data visualizations to remain static even after choosing different options.

• Added more precise numbers to Individuals by the Last 12 Months (Unduplicated per Month) and Individuals by Day of the Week (Unduplicated per Day) visualizations to be more in line with the Individuals by Week (Unduplicated per Week) visualization.
