Friends,
Woody Jenkins has spent his life working to make Louisiana a better place to live, work, and raise a family. He has served our state as a legislator, newspaper publisher, and Republican Party leader.
He is known as the hardest-working man in Louisiana politics and media, serving as editor of two newspapers, Central City News and the St. George Leader, and as Chairman of the East Baton Rouge Republican Party.
After a 50+ year career in politics and the media, Woody Jenkins has a wealth of knowledge about Louisiana politics and the media. He knows what makes our state special and has an unmatched passion and love for Louisiana.
Join us on Wednesday, October 28, as Woody Jenkins is our special guest at the Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon. The event begins at 12 noon and will be held at Porter & Luke’s Restaurant, 1517 Metairie Road, Metairie.
You are invited to join us for a great meal, fellowship, and the opportunity to hear an excellent speaker. Woody will give us his predictions on the midterm elections, his analysis of the Republican Party, and an update on the state of Louisiana politics and media.
Woody Jenkins founded the Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheons, which have been held in Baton Rouge for many years. We are now pleased to offer these luncheons in Metairie. It will be broadcast live on Central City News. Lunch is $35, plus tax/tip, and payable to the restaurant.
