THIS WEEK IN HOUSTON

November 19–23, 2025

This week in Houston, the arts deliver something special each day.

Thursday brings a fun, surprise-filled double-book celebration at Hotel Saint Augustine with Jack Massing and Hank Schyma.

Friday’s highlight is a performance of sacred and opera arias at All Saints Catholic Church — and trust me, internationally acclaimed tenor Angelo Ferrari’s voice is one of an angel; everyone should go. And, don't miss the opening of the two-days-only pop-up exhibition After Goya: Edwin Smalling at Garage Montrose (email me for the address or send a DM to @garagemontrose).

On Saturday, the city’s Warehouse District comes alive with the 33rd Annual ArtCrawl Houston, a full day of open studios and site-specific discoveries.

And on Sunday, MFAH’s Bayou Bend hosts the Makers Market Festival, a perfect fall afternoon of local arts and crafts.

👉 CHECK IT OUT! Writer Jef Rouner wrote a great story about artist Gary T. Murphy and his work!

As always, there are even more events published on my website for you to check out.
