This Earth Day 2026, the theme “Our Power, Our Planet” invites us to think a little bigger—beyond our neighborhoods, beyond our borders, and even beyond our atmosphere. As the crew of Artemis II orbited the Moon, they shared a powerful perspective: from a distance, Earth isn’t divided by cities or countries—it’s one small, fragile, interconnected home.
That view reinforces something simple but profound: we are all part of the same crew on “Spaceship Earth.” And just like any crew, we each have a role to play in keeping our ship healthy and thriving.
Whether it’s reducing waste, conserving resources, or supporting sustainable practices in our community, our everyday choices matter. This Earth Day, let’s take that astronaut ’s-eye view and remember—protecting our planet isn’t someone else’s job. It’s all of ours. Together is where Our Power lies to protect Our Planet.
This Earth Day, how are you using your power to help the Earth and fellow crew members?
