Inspiration for a

New School Year

The new school year has arrived, bringing with it all the familiar signs of fall: earlier sunsets, the first apples of the season, crisp mornings, and the return of busy school-day rhythms. These seasonal reminders have me looking ahead with a renewed sense of optimism and purpose for what the coming months will bring for our students and our community. That sense of possibility feels especially meaningful as we continue to navigate challenging and uncertain times in our country’s higher education landscape.

On a good note, I am very proud of our seniors who recently submitted 1st drafts of their college lists and are working hard writing their college application essays. I also feel excited for our recent graduates who are moving into college and starting a new chapter in their academic journey. A new school year is truly a new beginning for all of us. On that note, please take a look at some of my favorite quotes below-words of wisdom to inspire us as we start the fall semester.

“The expert in anything was once a beginner.” -Helen Hayes

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” -Theodore Roosevelt

“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.”

-Michael John Bobak

"Never fail means never learn. Never learn means never grow." - Wilson Kanadi

“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you." -B.B. King

"Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely." -Auguste Rodin

“Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.”

- Henry Ward Beecher

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." -Confucius

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”

-Jane Goodall

It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.” - Meister Eckhart

I wish all of our clients and colleagues the very best as the new school year begins.

Warmly,
