Hello everyone,
In this edition of the Gulf Coast Social Services CEO Corner Newsletter, we want to take a moment to honor and celebrate the remarkable women whose dedication and compassion are at the heart of our mission. Women are truly the backbone of our organization, stepping up as caregivers, leaders, and advocates for the individuals and families we support. Their unwavering commitment and hard work are vital to the success of our programs across the state.
As we recognize March as Women's History Month, we feel privileged to shine a light on the incredible contributions of women like Program Director Kristy Stalling, Scheduler Kanyna Delco, and Baton Rouge Office Manager Kristi Martin. We also want to acknowledge our courageous female clients and foster parents, whose strength and resilience inspire us every day and remind us of the power of community.
In this issue, we also share important information about VA Veterans home care services available throughout Louisiana. Our VA program offers essential support that enables veterans to stay in the comfort of their own homes, providing an alternative to nursing home care and offering respite for family caregivers. It is a profound honor for us to serve these brave individuals who have given so much to our country.
At Gulf Coast Social Services, our ability to support veterans, individuals with disabilities, and at-risk youth is made possible through our staff's dedication, our supporters' generosity, and our families' commitment. We invite you to visit our website at www.gcssla.org to learn more about our impact together and consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue our important work.
Thank you for being an essential part of the GCSS community. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve every day.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Willie Green
CEO, Gulf Coast Social Services
