Thanksgiving Food Drive

Please join us in helping local families in need this Thanksgiving. We will be collecting food for 350 food boxes for the Honey Brook Food Pantry and 50 boxes for Care Center. There are 2 ways you can help.

If you are interested in shopping and purchasing food directly, please consider signing up to supply a full meal for the Care Center. Click here to see the list of items. Items due by November 16.

Don't like to shop or would prefer to provide a monetary donation, please help us with the Honey Brook Food Pantry collection. Due to the large number of items needed, we will be purchasing items in bulk. Your monetary donation will help us buy things like cases of green beans, flats of stuffing, etc. We estimate it will cost $15 for each food box for Honey Brook.

We also need help packing up the food boxes for the Honey Brook Food Pantry on Saturday, November 1 at 10:00 am. To sign up to help with packing, please click here.

Also, please consider donating leftover Halloween candy to add a special treat to the boxes. Donations can be left on the sign up table in the narthex.

Sign up here to contribute to the drive.

Thank you!

Honey Sunday is Coming!

On Sunday, November 2, our youth will have a table outside of the sanctuary after worship to take honey orders and accept donations. This honey is produced by the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch organization, which provides residential, educational, and support services for at-risk youth and their families in North Dakota. Proceeds benefit this organization, as well as our own St. Paul's/St. Matthew's youth ministry. Enjoy some sweetness while you support two good causes!

New Members Classes

If you’ve been attending St. Paul’s, we would love to welcome you as a new member this fall! We’ll hold weekly classes starting Sunday, October 26 from 7-8 pm for four weeks as an opportunity to grow in faith, learn more about St. Paul’s and build friendships with others who are also joining. Child care will be provided. If you would like to attend or have any questions, please feel free to email PastorStuart@StPaulsLionville.org or call 610-804-1740.

Please contact Gwen Werner or call the church office for more information. Happy Reading!

Transportation Help Needed for Social Ministry

Our Social Ministry is always working on projects to help support St. Paul's and our local community. Many of these activities involve transporting large loads of items, whether it's transporting donations for the thrift store from people's homes, picking up large food orders for food drives, or delivering kits to Lutheran World Relief In-Gatherings. If you have access to a large SUV or truck and are willing to work your muscles a little, we can use your help! We're looking to create an email list so when a need arises we can reach out and see who is available to help. If you're able to help, please email Jenn Pindle-Lloyd to be added to the list. Thank you for supporting our Social Ministry and their outreach projects.

Anxious Generation Book Study

Our next "The Anxious Generation" Book Study will be on Sunday, November 9 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at St. Paul's. Parents with children in preschool through fifth grade are welcome to join us as we talk about issues around children and social media. This month's conversation will focus on the second section of the book, The Backstory: Decline of the Play-Based Childhood.

Adult Leaders Needed for ASP

ADULT LEADERS NEEDED FOR NEXT SUMMER'S APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT WORK WEEK! As we get ready for our July 11-18, 2026 work week in Central Appalachia, we need to get our adult leaders in place in order to determine how many youth we can accommodate. We need a MINIMUM of four male and four female leaders to take all of the youth who are likely to participate this year. If you are interested in helping, please contact Craig Miller at craigyouthmin@gmail.com, or 484-320-0785, by November 30.

Toys for Tots Drive

Toys for Tots will begin our annual collection on Saturday, November 1. Toys for Tots estimates that it will give 20,000 children in Chester and Montgomery Counties toys this holiday season. Toys for Tots is seeking new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 18. The age group most in need of gifts is older children and teens. This year, we will be putting tags on our Angel Tree for Toys for Tots, so please take a tag or two! All donations are due to St. Paul's no later than Sunday, December 7.

Thank you in advance for your continued support of this charity drive!
