Banning Sponsors IMPA Lineman Appreciation Event

Banning Engineering was proud to sponsor the Cornhole Tournament at the 2026 IMPA Lineman Appreciation Event on September 17. The event provided an opportunity to recognize and spend time with the crews who work around the clock to keep power flowing and communities across Indiana safe.

A special congratulations goes to Craig Switzer of Pendleton Utilities, who received the Kerry Vincent Distinguished Lineworker Award from IMPA President & CEO Jack Alvey. Craig was recognized for his commitment to safety, service, and his community.

We are fortunate to count both IMPA and the Town of Pendleton among Banning Engineering’s valued clients. Events like this give us an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day work and recognize the people behind the essential services our communities depend on.

Thank you to IMPA for hosting another great event, and to Indiana’s linemen for everything they do!

Banning Out and About

Investing in the Next Generation

Some of our favorite days happen away from our desks. This September, members of our team hit the road to meet the students who will become tomorrow's engineers, surveyors, project managers, and leaders.

Our first stop was Rose-Hulman's Welcome Back event on September 2nd, followed by Purdue, Hendricks County Future Pathways, and Cascade High School's 4E Day. At every stop, the curiosity, talent, and enthusiasm were impossible to miss.

These conversations matter to us. We were thrilled to begin filling our Summer 2027 internship slots with some of the standout students we met along the way, and we can't wait to welcome them to the team.

The future of this industry is bright, and we're proud to be part of building it.
