(M)ore (O)pportunities

Greetings Watershed Stewards,

So far in July, we've clocked over 200 hours of service. Most of that has been (R)estoration work during our Green Infrastructure Series but we have some interesting (M)onitoring and (O)utreach opportunities coming up.

Cleveland Metroparks will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Acacia Reservation with a Bioblitz on Wednesday, August 9th from 9am - 2:30pm. WVP volunteers can sign up for the Fish Survey for (M)onitoring credit. There are also other opportunities available to interested volunteers. For more information and to sign up, visit here.

The annual Backyard Bash will take place on Saturday, August 12th from 10am - 4pm at West Creek Reservation's Watershed Stewardship Center. There will be live music, wagon rides, a native plant sale, rain garden installation tips and more. WVP is looking for volunteers to staff our (O)utreach table. We'll have two shifts from 10am -1pm and 1pm -4pm. Come and share your expertise. WVP Volunteers register here.

Kind regards,

Sara Corrigan

Watershed Volunteer Program Coordinator
