Join us this Thursday, 15th May 2025, 4:00 PM EAT, for our LabCoP ECHO session where we share the Zambia National Multi-pathogen Diagnostic Program and its role in Supporting Patient-centered Care
The African region continues to bear the burden of communicable diseases, including those emanating from epidemic-prone pathogens. This burden is exacerbated by the region’s limited diagnostic network capacity and resources. Single disease, Multi-disease testing platforms, and multiplex testing are approaches that can improve efficiency and effective delivery of diagnostic services when considerations are made on the most optimal approach.
In this session, Zambia will share their work on enhancing clinical diagnostic capacity for infectious diseases through the National Multi-Pathogen Diagnostic Program (NMPDP). The team will highlight their current focus, key considerations, and some of the emerging opportunities in this initiative's implementation
