Santee Falcons SOAR! Principal's Update
November 10, 2019
Principal Ansley's Weekly Message
Dear Santee Family,

"Self-care is so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel." Eleanor Brown

The October and November months can be very challenging for our educators, students and families. I want to remind everyone that it is extremely important that you take time to take care of yourselves. We dedicate so much time, love, and effort into supporting our students and children that we sometimes forget to take time to breathe and replenish ourselves.

You matter! You are the unspoken heroes and we want to make sure that we can continue to be advocates for our students and our community, so please take care of yourselves. Remind yourselves of how amazing you are and the difference you make in other peoples lives on a daily basis. Thank you for all that you do. It is difficult to express to others the dedication and passion you demonstrate every single day, but know that it does not go unseen!

Working Together, All Santee Falcons Will Soar !

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to call our main office or email Principal Susana Ansley-Gutierrez at susana.gutierrez@lausd.net.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
