Dear friend,

Feeling a bit like a Groundhog these days? No duh. Wake me when it's over. Today our North Shore Groundhog did the obligatories and learned a thing or two before heading back to the den until May. First, he was surprised to hear that the Baptism River Inn had been sold! Next he discovered some decent savings on remaining trailside ski Vacation Rental stays in Isabella. Finally....Zzzzzzzz. After 16 years, Lura and Andy are passing on the Baptism River Inn torch. It's been a wonderful ride and we are so grateful for your support and friendship. We are also grateful that the new owners share our strong feelings for this special place. Here's a greeting from new owner Sara Peterson: "My sister Anne and I are grateful and excited for the opportunity to step in as your hosts at the Baptism River Inn. We will continue operating as a B&B this spring, then convert to whole-home vacation rental this summer, with the full 8-bedroom lodge available for multigenerational or multifamily vacations, yoga or book club retreats, etc. We will post more information at www.baptismriverinn.com and www.tettegouchelodge.com in the coming weeks."

Despite what the Groundhog might believe, the ski season "is" winding down. We would love to fill up our remaining openings with some happy skiers.
