HONORING A LOCAL HERO

This month, we celebrate a local hero: County Mayor Maria Sachs. She's dedicated her life to serving our community, and her passion for making a difference is truly inspiring.

Maria's journey in public service began in 2006 when she joined the Florida legislature. She served two terms in the Florida House and two terms in the Florida Senate, gaining experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to lead and deliver real results for our community. Her peers recognized her leadership, electing her as Minority Leader Pro Tempore and Minority Whip.

Growing up, Maria was surrounded by the values of service and patriotism. Her father, a WWII Army combat veteran, and her mother, an Italian war bride, instilled in her a profound sense of duty to our country and its veterans. Maria's commitment to our veterans is a testament to her unwavering dedication to our community.

Edith Rolnick

(Edy-Ma)

May her memory be a Blessing

Bruce Silver’s maternal grandmother Edith Rolnick or “Edy-Ma,” as her grandchildren called her, was born in Buffalo, N.Y. She and her husband, Harry, raised a family in Newburgh, N.Y., until they retired to Florida. Bruce says she was a wonderful cook, baker, mother, grandmother and friend and she baked for every holiday. Every year she would ask Bruce what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday. He always asked her to make him “the coffee cake.” Her famous recipe is below.

At Silver Injury Law We Have Been Known to Walk "The Last Mile"

At Silver Injury Law we've been known to walk the "last mile" for our clients meaning that, when liability is uncertain or disputed, we will literally walk the "last mile" on the roadway before an accident happened so that we can see what the other motorist should have seen but didn't. We are mindful that, while we will move on to the next case, our clients only have one case so we conduct our own investigations to turn over every stone so that Justice can be allowed to prevail. Absolutely nobody is as thorough as me and my team in our pursuit of justice. - Bruce Silver Esq.
