Last Moement

As my year of service as District Governor for Rotary District 6970 comes to a close, my heart is filled with gratitude.

To every Rotarian, Rotaractor, family member, friend of Rotary, and community partner across our district, thank you. Thank you for your support, your encouragement, your dedication, and most importantly, your commitment to Service Above Self.

Serving as your District Governor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I have had the privilege of visiting clubs throughout our district and witnessing firsthand the incredible impact you make every day. From local service projects that strengthen our communities to international initiatives that bring hope, health, education, and opportunity around the world, your work is truly inspiring.

I have seen members give their time, talents, and resources selflessly to help others. I have watched clubs embrace innovation while remaining steadfast in Rotary’s values. I have met passionate leaders, dedicated volunteers, and future changemakers who remind me that Rotary’s future is bright.

I am especially proud of our collective commitment to The Rotary Foundation. Your generosity continues to transform lives across the globe, funding projects that create lasting changes and providing opportunities for people to thrive. Together, you have demonstrated that when Rotarians unite behind a common purpose, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

Our district has also continued to play a vital role in Rotary’s historic effort to eradicate polio. Every contribution, every fundraiser, every conversation raising awareness brings us closer to a world where no child will ever suffer from this disease again. What an incredible legacy we are helping to create.

This year has impacted me in ways I never could have imagined. The friendships formed, the stories shared, the challenges overcome, and the successes celebrated have left a lasting mark on my life. My family and I have been deeply blessed by this journey. We have experienced the warmth, kindness, and fellowship that make Rotary so special, and we will forever cherish the memories created along the way.
