"You're not a big spender. You don't shop a lot. You may not collect anything. You just innocently go about your life, working, eating, sleeping, and socializing. Even so, your home just seems to get more and more cluttered as the years go by..."
--Peter Walsh, It's All Too Much
Okay, my friends, what's really going on?
You say you are busy? Is it your job, your kids, or your marriage?
If we look at these questions, note where the focus
--your focus--is. It's out there! Not at home, not within. Have you thought about your spirit lately? How does your spirit feel about being home for the evening? For the weekend?
Maybe because so much clutter has accumulated or been left unattended, you'd rather watch a Netflix movie, read a book, or go out for a drink or a meal with your friends.
Here's the deal: You OWN your possessions. They are yours! They are "under your care." Maybe it's time to step up to the plate.
My Tip: Spend an evening at home.
Focus on how you feel in your home.
Do something--it can be small--that makes your home the sanctuary it deserves to be.
As Peter Walsh writes, "Don't throw up your hands and act like this is beyond your control. It won't fix itself! Step up!"
