US Open Fan Week will return in style in 2023, providing six days of amazing tennis, star-studded events and activities for all—with most free to the public—in the lead-up to the final Grand Slam of the year. In addition, Wilson is donating 10,000 junior racquets to be given away during Fan Week.

Fan Week Highlights:

• Wednesday, August 23: Stars of the US Open.
• Thursday, August 24: Flavors of the Open. (USTA members, can use code 'FLAVORS' to unlock discounted tickets for Flavors of the Open.)
• Friday, August 25: Sounds of the US Open.

2023 Arthur Ashe Kids Day

Celebrating the life and legacy of tennis and cultural icon Arthur Ashe, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation will return in 2023, taking place on Saturday, August 26!

Tennis fans of all ages will be able to experience a variety of entertainment and activities throughout the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

This year's special appearances include 2022 US Open Champions Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek, 23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, and Ben Shelton.

• AAKD Center Stage.
• Free Family Festival.
• Around the Grounds Fun.
• Watch the Pros!

2023 Fall Tennis Registration Is Open

Town of Islip All-Aces-Tennis

Junior Development Tennis instruction for ages 4 to 18.

The ALL-ACES-TENNIS Program is Directed on court by a USPTA Certified Elite Professional with over 30 years of player development experience.

Clinic players will participate in age and level appropriate drills, games and conditioning that will improve their skills on the court. 

This is a Town of Islip program open to Islip residents and non-residents.

Ideal for new players!

• Weekdays - After-School
• Session based on age and skill/experience level.
• Starts September 12, 2023

2023 Fall Adult Tennis Instruction

Adult instruction: Instant Tennis learning progressions to develop racquet and rally skills. Learn Singles and doubles basics.

Ideal for new players, and players who have not played in a while. Meet other adults from the community.

Starts September 17, 2023.

Schedule:

• Days: Sundays
• Time: 10:00 am to 11:30 am
• Dates: September 17, 24, October 1, 8

Fees: 

• 4 sessions: 1-1/2r. classes.
•  Residents: $140 - Non-Residents: $170

NEW! SCJTL Varsity|Tournament Competition Training Program



First ever SCJTL Winter Junior Development program!

Weekly comprehensive competition training with Suffolk County top varsity tennis and USTA National High

Performance Coaches. Weekly themed training sessions covering all aspects of varsity and tournament competition.

There is no program that covers important competition skills and tactics like this one! 

Directed by and on court with: Joe Arias and Jimmy Delevante!

Experience Level: (Strictly followed)

• Ages: 14 thru 18 - Grades 9 thru 12
• Varsity experienced only. Not open to JV players.
• UTR 3.0+
• SCJTL Skill Level rating: 35+
• Player must be able to effectively participate in "live-ball" drills and play.

Schedule:

• Days: Sundays
• Time: 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
• Dates: 6-weeks starting November 5, 12, 19, December 3, 10, 17

Location:

• Indoors.
• Deer Park Tennis Club - 30 Burt Drive, Deer Park

Please note: This is an SCJTL program, NOT a Deer Park Tennis Club program.

Fees: 

• 6 weekly sessions: 2-1/2r. classes.
• ·$510 per player
