Happy Friday!

It's been an exciting week at St. Roch! Picture Day, Kickball games, 8th Grade trip to CYO Camp, and a reunion of two of our students with their mother who has been deployed! Check out of facebook or instagram (above) for all that's going on around our school. It's great to be a Rocket!

House Leaderboard

Each week we will post the House Leaderboards! The student who earned the most recent points for that house will be featured. The total points for the houses are on the banners!

We have screens in the cafeteria and main office with the leaderboards posted!

Mass Attendance

Attending Mass is essential to living the Catholic faith, as it is where we encouter Jesus in the Eucharist, are nourished by His Word, and join on community in prayer. Parents, you are the first and most important teachers of your child's faith. You have the sacred responsibility to lead by example. Please bring your children to Mass and show them that our relationship with God is central in our lives.

K-8 Students Need a Library Card

All Kindergarten-8th grade students need a library card. Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. DeArmond can access the IMCPL database, so students do not need to bring their cards in, but they DO need to be in the system by Monday, September 1.

August Family Faith Challenge

Each month, we will put out a new Family Faith Challenge! This month's challenge is to pray before all meals. When your family has completed the challenge, return this form (paper copies sent home with the students this week) or send Mrs. Elam an email. At the end of the year, families who have completed at least 8 of the 10 family faith challenges will be recognized at our closing liturgy and receive a gift.
