Giving of ourselves is God’s call to us. Giving shapes us into the people God wants us to be. Your giving also makes possible all that Good Shepherd does.
Our parish is fortunate to walk with those inside and outside of Good Shepherd through so many parts of life. We celebrate births, baptisms and marriages, and we commemorate death – and everything in-between. We are fortunate to be able to reach out to those in need throughout the broader Austin community. All of this is an expression of God’s love and presence with us. And all of this depends on your support: your financial gifts and your commitment of time and energy.
Pledges fund more than 80% of our budget, and we ask you to pledge now so that we can plan our ministries for the coming year.
If you haven’t made a pledge before, we invite you to pledge for 2024. Your pledge is an indication of what you plan to give to the parish in the coming year. You don’t have to make your gift now, but we ask for your pledge now so that we can plan our ministries and budget for the coming year.
If you have pledged before, we ask you to prayerfully consider increasing your pledge by 9%. This amount accounts for increasing costs – including utilities; insurance; interest rates; the added cost, and related benefit, of strengthened campus security; and an additional part-time staff person to better serve the 1400 children and youth of the parish. This amount also accounts for the expiration of pandemic-related financial assistance.
We are so glad that you are part of our parish community, and we invite you to click below to make your pledge. Thank you so much for your support.
