A WORKDAY FILLED WITH L-O-V-E!

How would you feel about a workday filled with kisses from a precious puppy or the love of a purring kitten? We know your answer – "That would be amazing!"

Good news, it's completely possible during a few special days in July!

We're looking for local businesses with groups of employees who want to take a little time out of their workday to snuggle with dogs and cats!

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

We're guessing that you're excited – and that you probably have a few questions. So let's get those answered! (There's a fair bit of detail here, but it reads quick, and there's a clear call-to-action!)

• What is Hour of Love?
• Hour of Love is HEA's largest (and cutest) annual campaign. It gives pet lovers many simple ways to change lives while raising funds and connecting friends to meet the needs of the countless dogs and cats that HEA helps each year.

• How does our group participate in Hour of Love?
• Your team will create a campaign page ahead of your cuddle session.
• You can create one page for your team, or the individual members of your team can create their own pages!

• After your registration is confirmed, you'll receive access to a participant toolkit that's filled with tips, tricks, and tools to create sweet success for the cats and dogs!

• On event-day, you'll enjoy slobbery kisses, wagging tails, and endless purrs from adoptable dogs and cats during your team's cuddle sessions! (Be sure to grab lots of photo and video content while you're at HEA!)

• Before, during, and after your time at HEA, you'll help spread the word about Hour of Love to people in your network. You'll make them aware of the significant and critical (financial) difference they can make by investing in HEA's mission to increase humanity's capacity to care for its companion animals!

PRIORITY SCHEDULING: There are many cuddle sessions available. We're giving large groups an opportunity to register early so their group members can participate together. We recommend that groups of 10 or more submit their registration form by 5 pm on Friday, June 13. At this time, all we need is an estimate of how many people will be in your group. We'll confirm participant names and credentials after we confirm your group's timeslot.

• What does it cost to participate?
• Absolutely nothing!

• In exchange for the cuddles, your team will actively help achieve the Hour of Love fundraising and friend-raising goals!

• Where does the snuggling happen?
• HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center - 2255 Fox Heights Lane (54304)

• When is this happening?
• Groups are invited to snuggle during any of these dates and times:
• Thurs, July 24: 9am - 4pm
• Fri, July 25: 9am - 1pm
• Sat, July 26: 9am - 3pm

• How do I specify my group's date/time preferences?
• The group interest form asks you to specify your preferences.

• How much is my group expected to raise?
• Hour of Love has two primary objectives, and cuddle session participants play an important role in:

1. Raising funds
2. Connecting friends

• To give you an idea of how important (and significant) the Hour of Love campaign is, in just 6 years, this campaign has raised over $595,000 – each dollar, a powerful act of love to advance HEA's noble mission to increase humanity's capacity to care for its companion animals.

• We ask that you make a contribution of time and/or money that is meaningful to the campaign goals and/or money that is meaningful to the campaign goals (and your group's capacity).

• Can we use Volunteer Time-Off (VTO) to attend Hour of Love?
• Of course! Could there possibly be a better way to use VTO?!

• Can we wear our corporate volunteer apparel and/or bring signage to promote our team?
• We would love it if you tell the world about your kindness – it creates more!

• Will the animals provide stress relief to participants?
• We speak from experience, we're confident the answer is yes!

• Can we use Hour of Love as a team-building exercise?
• We'll provide the dogs and cats. You provide the team. Build away!
• Plus, in this world of fully-remote and hybrid positions, this is a great way to bring the team together for a unique shared experience.

• Can our group participate remotely?
• Your group can definitely make a difference in the Hour of Love campaign from wherever you are!
• If your group's schedule does not allow for in-person participation, we'd be very open to arranging a post-campaign visit with any group who is actively helping achieve the campaign's goals (remotely)!
