It's finally that time of year! Our Annual Quran Competition is here and fast approaching! Join us on April 30th at 2pm as various age groups prove their memorization skills and win awards!
Registration closes on April 21st so don't forget to register as soon as possible!

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Give each other gifts and you will love each other.”
We are very pleased to announce that MAPS is partnering with Seattle Children’s Hospital to make this Ramadan and Eid a memorable one for all its young patients. Our community will be donating 300 toys for Eid to all children at 3 different Seattle Children’s locations Insha-Allah. Muslim children the world over receive gifts on Eid day in a universal and beautiful tradition going back hundreds of years. This year, we plan on bringing this joy to the children at Seattle Children’s Insha-Allah.
We are asking the community to help make this program a success:

Please purchase 1 or 2 gifts (max price of $25) from the approved list below

Either, drop the gifts at MAPS Library before April 19th; or

Have Amazon deliver the gifts to MAPS before April 19th [address: 17550 NE 67th Ct, Redmond, WA 98052]
Please do not send or drop the gifts directly to Seattle Children’s.
We will collect all gifts and distribute them with Seattle Children’s staff on:
- Tuesday, April 26 from 11am – 2pm in the Odessa Brown Central District Clinic lobby
- Wednesday, April 27 from 11am – 2pm in the Odessa Brown Othello Clinic lobby
- Thursday, April 28 from 11am – 2pm in the hospital lobby (main entrance)

As we move into our new normal following the past two years, MAPS is once again planning singles Iftars on weekdays and community Iftars on weekends (Fri/Sat) during the blessed month of Ramadan 2022, insha'Allah. The cost of Iftar is $15 per plate.
MAPS will additionally sponsor up to $30,000 for Iftar at the Ethiopian Muslims Association of Seattle (EMAS) and the Muslim American Youth Foundation (MAYF) of Seattle. These are neighboring communities that are in need and sponsorship will benefit them immensely.
If you’re interested in sponsoring Iftar at MAPS or the Seattle communities, please sign up and make your donation at the following links:
A QR Code for Iftar signup will also be posted throughout the masjid.

MAPS is offering childcare for 4 to 7 yr olds during Isha and Taraweeh prayers on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the MPR Room!
Please make sure to be present at the prayers when leaving your children with us; do not leave them at MAPS and go elsewhere. JazakAllah for your understanding!

✨ MAPS - Youth Iftar with Cham Youth ✨
MAPS Youth! We were happy to see everyone at our Iftar at the UW Islamic House this past Friday - please make dua for all the folks at MSA-UW for being such gracious hosts! This coming Friday, we will be at MAPS hosting the Cham and SFT Youth groups! We will meet at 7pm in the new MPR room, play some games for prizes and then break our fasts together!
